The BASA Showcase celebrates excellence, innovation and positive impact across the UK adhesives and sealants industry. Each category highlights the people, organisations and initiatives that are driving progress today while helping to shape a resilient, responsible and future‑focused sector.

The Showcase has been designed to reflect the full breadth of the BASA membership – recognising early‑career professionals, technical expertise, innovation, sustainability, skills development, community engagement and outstanding business leadership. Together, the categories tell a collective story about the strength, diversity and ambition of our industry.

The BASA Showcase categories have been deliberately designed to work together, allowing entrants to highlight excellence from multiple perspectives:

Individual categories recognise emerging talent and rising stars who are building the future workforce

Headline company categories bring together evidence from across categories to recognise overall excellence in manufacturing and supply

Organisations are encouraged to enter multiple relevant categories. Doing so allows judges to build a rounded picture of performance, culture and contribution across different areas of activity.

How judging works

Each category is assessed against clear criteria aligned to its application questions. Judges look for:

Clarity of purpose and intent
Evidence of delivery and real‑world impact
Learning, improvement and future potential
Contribution to the wider adhesives and sealants industry

For the headline categories – Manufacturer of the Year and Supplier of the Year – judges draw together evidence from other shortlisted categories to identify organisations that demonstrate consistent, well‑rounded excellence over time.

Who can enter?

The BASA Showcase is open to BASA member companies and individuals across the adhesives and sealants value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, technical service providers and professionals at all career stages.
