Med Supply Drive Scotland, part of Med Supply Drive UK, made up of volunteer doctors and nurses across the country are looking to collaborate with trade associations – to appeal to all member business and institutions to donate PPE to the NHS and front line health care professionals, and hospital staff to treat Covid-19 patients safely using best PPE available.
We have been asked to pass on this appeal to Members.
Attached is a list of example industry standard PPE that can be used by healthcare workers. Do you have kit that is used normally for your business that could help – such as included on the list below? This is not just about donations of masks, this is for all PPE, as per list attached can also be used.
Donations can be dropped off at the delivery entrance of their local health care facility. Alternatively Med Supply Drive can organise collection and distribution.
We also are looking for volunteers who are on furlough who have PPE or procurement knowledge, if you can volunteer go to the website below and fill out the volunteer form.
