Ryan Diggory, Senior Policy Advisor - International Trade has asked for input for BASA members relating to the product groups detailed below. This business intelligence is needed to a) work out what the UK’s WTO tariffs should be on imports from places we do not have a trade deal with, such as China or India, b) establish whether new competition from places such as the US due to lowering tariffs within a trade deal would have adverse impacts on UK producers, and c) engage with businesses to see if they would be able to use the rules of origin we would propose to use for UK-EU trade, so that they avoid any tariffs on that trade
