The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) has launched a guide for adhesives and sealants intended for stakeholders in the automotive and heavy truck OEM body shops.

The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC), along with its partners in the industry, has published an Adhesive and Sealant Selection Guide for OEM Body Shops. The guide provides important design, material property, and performance considerations for structural adhesives and sealants used by OEMs and tier suppliers for body-in-white applications for the automotive and heavy truck industries.

This comprehensive industry guide details the type and function of adhesives and sealants used in bodies and cabs (body-in-white, BIW) of light vehicles and heavy trucks, common test methods, and selection considerations for OEM’s.
