Future Materials Conference

The IOM3 Young Members Committee are organising a Future Materials Conference to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the IOM3. This conference will be held at the University of Leeds, on Tuesday December 17th 2019.

The conference is intended to be a forum for early career materials scientists and engineers from across the UK to come together and present their research on the materials they are developing, with the hope of improving presentation and poster skills, along with initiating collaboration between industry and academia.

If you would like to register to attend, or submit an abstract for a poster or short presentation (10 mins), please see the link below. The attendance of as many people from the University of Leeds as possible would be appreciated! The deadline for abstracts has been extended to September 25^th.

Please note:

· It is FREE to register via the link below, there will be lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day, with a drinks and networking reception in the evening.

· There will also hopefully be the attendance of a Chartership team from the IOM3 to help kick-start that process, if it is something you are interested in.

· You do NOT need to be a member of the IOM3 in order to participate in this event.
