Update opportunities as part of a Labelexpo Europe visit
An important component in the pressure-sensitive label is release liner, which is the subject of a topical seminar being held in Brussels by AWA Alexander Watson Associates on the day before the opening of Labelexpo Europe. The seminar, on September 23rd, represents a prime opportunity for both Labelexpo exhibitors, and potential show visitors, to gain valuable updates on this key topic.
The Label Release Liner Industry Seminar brings together recognized experts from across the value chain, led by Corey Reardon, AWA President and CEO. Following his market update, AWA Senior Consultant Riitta Salo will talk in detail about supply and demand of paper liners for labeling. Joining them on the seminar podium as presenters are UPM’s Director of Business Intelligence and Development Mikko Rissanen; Maxime Bayzelon, President, ETI Converting Equipment; Jerome Salvert, Global Technology Expert, SILCOLEASE® Release Coatings, ELKEM; Calvin Frost, President, Channeled Resources Group; Jan 't Hart, Senior Director -- Innovation, Sustainability & Compliance, Avery Dennison; and Mark Macaré, Senior Public Affairs& Recycling Project Manager for FINAT. They will deliver up-to-the-minute reports on the headline issues facing the release liner market for labelstock. The program also features an audience Q&A session with speakers, and the day ends with a panel discussion on silicone and coating trends and developments, featuring a team of market leaders.
