The Winter OIF will be taking place at Croner House, Hinckley. This event promises to be as informative as the successful June event that took place immediately after the BASA Sports Day. This Forum will focus on Sustainability and Training, with the usual regulatory updates and Working Group poster sessions. The Event Flyer is available on the News Pages

I am increasingly concerned about the comments I hear about adhesives being the culprit preventing dismantleability, so would strongly urge as many of you as possible to attend this free event. We want to make sure that we understand the concerns and act appropriately in the future and we can only do this is we know what our Members think. We also have some new guest speakers, and one in particular representing a start-up company Techlan Ltd is a UK start-up producing recycled high-quality silicone release papers, and their presentation should be informative. We also have speakers from Defra and BEIS talking about Eco design and the Circular Economy. We also have 2 speakers talking about training for our industry, with Dr Gareth McGrath looking at the next steps after the survey carried out following his well received presentation at the last OIF, and Cogent Skills looking at training for apprentices.
